Yamaha beats KTM

It was in this months Dirt Wheels, so take it for what it's worth, but the Raptor beat the 525xc and the Polaris in this months big bore shootout.  I never rode any on these quads, so I wouldn't know, but I've owned 3 KTM bikes and trust me, I would never buy the quad.  Maybe Dirt Wheels finally got one right, or KTM didn't pay them as much as the Yamaha execs.  Who knows.

Im willing to bet they downfall to them was the price tag. I would buy a ktm for xc.. the 700 just wouldnt get the job done.

the 700 is a pretty big heavy bike, the 525 definitely looks a bit more sporty. Id take the ktm.

Now that's a dumb statement  . The Raptor 700 is one of the best bikes that you can get away from the race bikes. Honestly, you shouldn't make any comments on ANY bikes being junk considering that you have (2) of them in your sig (lol). So how would you rate the Polaris bikes?

oh geez, why can't people learn polaris's are better than yamaha. every race ive been to yamaha(450) cant keep up even on straight aways. ive raced a 660 up in virginia at a place called slades park and beat him too, you guys just cant keep up.

Well, the KTM motors are very powerful no doubt... BUT THAT'S NOT A POLARIS PRODUCT  . If I offended anyone that has a Polaris I apologize. But the quality of their bikes overall compared to the Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki, Kawi, CanAM, or KTM is subpar. And what races are you going to to see this? Myself, Dreth, T2 and others are having a "Battle & BBQ" at a local spot here on a no jump track. You interested? Then I can see how fast your Polaris really is

i would love to attend, depending on the date. by the way i dont know how many times i have to say this but KTM and Polaris are very close companys and were even going to completely merge at one point so KTM quality and Polaris quality= The same. im not bashing any brand im just stating were they fall into place.

I doubt we'll be doing much riding during the summer. It's just too darn hot and muggy. I ride, but it's normally in the AM. Too bad you can't come out this weekend. I'd like to see how the Polaris runs against some of the other bikes.

shaun seen me at the plex at there last race so use him as a reference, i crashed and ran out of gas in that race but finished third. i might be able to catch you guys before the summer i just dont like doing too much free riding during the season so thats why i said the summer, who knows.

your a funny guy rob...I dont even ride my polaris's but they either one of them eat every raptor ive EVER seen. So im not very impressed. I could probably take it with my fifty

lol no i dont have a 50 but ive never seen a fast raptor so if you beieve yours is fast id love to see it haha....But actually the zuk,and predator are mine. My dad has the outlaw and a couple junkers.

Where we're going has trails, but we won't be doing any trail riding. It's a MX style track with TT like turns.

I've seen this guy Rob ride, you guys dont want any trust me. His YFZ eats Polaris' & craps KTM's on a bad day. Last time I seen hims drag race a Polaris, he pulled the kill tether at 1/2 track & coasted to victory.
The man has forgotten more skillz than you youngsters will ever learn.
PLease do yourselve's a favor & dont try Rob or you will be crawling back home with your tails between your legs his YFZ is DA SHIZ!!!
