Hillsborough County is a joke. They bowed to the muslims & took away the day off on Good Friday from the schools. The muslims were making noise about this last year & this is the first year they have removed it from the school holidays. The muslims say they dont get religious holidays so they should not have Good Friday off for the Christians.
The county kissed their azzes & took it away.
My wife is a teacher, she has a total of 6 kids in her class today. Good for all the parents who took a stand!!!
1/2 of all the bus drivers for the school system took off today also. The system is in complete disarray over this!
I hope the school board recognizes this is not IRAQ & does the right thing.
The schools opened at 6am so working parents could take their kids to school early!
The administrators will have to stay after school at some schools until the parents get off work to pick up their kids due to no buses. That could be 6-7pm.
