Registering a ATV with a Kentucky bill Of sale.

Well im thinkin of trading my banshee for a 450r. but the person i found says that:

"well since the bike was originally from kentucky.. they dont issue titles in that state so i have a bill of sale from HONDA but its clean guarantee."

now... can i still register this bike in florida?
is there any way that i can get a title for it??

i dont want to trade and then not be able to register it.

Even if it was never titled, the bike was originally sold with an MSO (Manufacturer's Statement of Origin).  This is the certification of the class of vehicle and VIN that the state uses to issue a title.  Without it, you will have a difficult, although not impossible, time getting it titled.  Ask the seller if he has the statement of origin or if he is willing to go back to the dealer to get a duplicate (that is how I handled titling my 2001 Prairie that I purchased in Alabama - the dealer still had the record of the sale, verified my identity then requested a duplicate from Kawasaki; took about 2-3 weeks).  Otherwise, be prepared to jump through a bunch of hoops for Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles.
