After finishing his race, Jordan Peters #16 started feeling ill.  The paramedics thought he might be dehydrated and his heart rate was irregular.  They took him by ambulance to Dade City hospital but they bayflighted him to Tampa General.  As of right now they are still at the hospital and I have not been able to get any further updates.  This was weighing heavy on my heart and was hoping that all of his racing friends would keep him in their thoughts and prayers.  We are praying that there is nothing seriously wrong and that he will be up and running again soon.
Thanks,
Reba

Yes, he races in the C class.  They gave him something at the hospital to lower his heart rate but that is all I know as of now.  If anyone else knows any new updates, please let us know.

Hope he is alright! Broken bones heal, but physical health is much more serious. He's in my prayers.

I heard about this at the end of the day. Hope everything turns out ok.

Please keep us up to date on his situtation when you hear more.

In the mean time a few extra prayers will be sent up.

I spoke with Jordans mom today.  He is still in the hospital in intensive care but is doing much better.  They found out that he had a defibrillation of a heart valve and are just going to watch him to make sure it doesn't happen again.  Lets all keep praying that he makes a speedy recovery and doesn't have any further problems.  We are thinking about you Jordan.  Get Well!

I had some choice words with Jordan on the track after he ran into me, but I sincerely hope that he makes a fast and full recovery. I'll keep you in my prayers.

I heard about this late in the day as well-and all i could think of is i hope he is fine-was not aware of the severity until yesterday and have sent up some prayers as well.We hope you feel better and get back to us on the track soon!!!!!

I would also like to say that racing is a very dangerous and emotional sport and we need to remember that we might not be as good as the next guy but that does not mean that they do not belong inthe class or that things happen on purpose-this is racing and emotions get high when you do not win or when you have an accident that prvents you from doing as good as you hoped to do-this is not something on purpose but happens toi every rider and will happen more then once-the key here is to handle it the correct way and hold yourself high for finishing and being able to race another day!!!!!

I am very proud of all of our riders and always want them to win in the end and would to see everyone finally get to where they are wanting to be,but as in any racing this is not possible every weekend you will have great weekends and bad ones-you guys put on a great show and are getting so much better everytime i watch the races and that is the exciting part of this whole series.

Keep it safe and cannot wait to see you all at Waldo,
