ive narrowed down to the rhino or ranger 700. i have my outlander for mud riding now i want a cruser.  i dont really need all kinds of speed or anything. i really like the ranger 700 but i dont know how that straight up bench is gonna treat me. the rhino has nice seats with a good driving position.but seem to have a pretty harsh ride/poor suspension. what do yall think? im open to any other suggestions and oppinions

Harsh suspension? I know probably 10 friends with Rhinos and I've never heard a complaint about the suspension. Last time out i rode in the passenger seat of a rhino and I was EXTREMELY surprised how smooth the Rhino was when hitting ruts.
 The Polunkis is much bigger with more room in the cab.

Step outside the big names & do yourself a favor before buying.
Check out the husqvarna 4421gxp or 4421dxp.
One version comes with a 23hp vtwin kawasaki & one comes with a kubota diesel engine. They arent as fast as a rhino , but will outpull & outhaul one. The suspension is very good as well. You could go see one at All Dade Mowers in Miami or Green Thumb in Coral Springs I am sure they both should have a demo unit. They come in orange, green or camo.

If you are interested seeing or riding one of these, let me know. My sales rep from Husqvarna who is the man in Florida says he has some of the gas models with the Kawasakis for under dealer cost.
PM me for details & I will get you directly in touch with him. That would avoid the dealer markup.
That goes for anyone interested in one of these.Search them online & checkout the specs compared to the competition.

i was interested in the polaris and yamaha cause i have connections that can get me really good deals. i guess im to used to my can-am as far as a nice suspension, my brother has the ranger and that is one smoothe machine. the rhino seems to get really rough on the rutted trails down here. my good friend rides one and constantly has to slow down way to often. you are pobably right maybe its just his machine thats like that. i will look into that husquavarna too there is a dealer nearby ill check out then ill let you know.  thanks

if you want it for recreation, I would stay away from kubota, husky, cub cadet and the other brands like that.

Where is the snorkle on the yammys & polaris'? On the Husqvarna, your butt would have to be in water to get close to the snorkle. Does any of the big names have TRUE 4wd?(meaning ALL 4 wheels WILL PULL when needed) How many have 4 wheel disc brakes? How many have a 6061 aluminum main frame?(no rust) How many come standard with skid plates, brush bumper, 25" vampire style tires, nerf bars & power tilt bed? Yammy only has a 400lb bed capacity, the husqvarna is 800lb with an option for 1050lb. And to top it off how many of those big names come standard with a 2 year warranty
Oh yeah, kawasaki gas & kubota diesel engines are bulletproof & always have been. All I am saying is when you are in the market to spend $10K+ on a SxS, do a real comparison, not just on name value.

Maybe one day i can get a demo to take to the motoplex & anyone would be welcome to compare. It wont out run the other brands, but most people who buy a SxS dont race them. If you do then buy the Rhino, Prowler or Ranger RZR, hands down.

I do have first hand experience with the other brands and from a pure recreation stand point they dont even compare to the Rhinos. In my opinion the only 3 machines designed for recreation are the Yamaha Rhino, Kawasaki Teryx and the Polaris RZR. For the trails those are the only 3 I would own. I guess you could add Arctic Cat Prowler to that list too. Now if you want something to work around the ranch or something then those brands you mention are definitely the top of the line.  Other than the brush guard and skidplates all the other features are more for utility users.
