My brakes on my 2001 blaster are going crappy anybody have any suggestions?
They are a mechanical disc type mechanism. [smiley=box.gif]

 the mechanical brakes were never a really good braking system. Trenga Racing makes an excellent aftermarket system, kinda pricey but nice.
Also havent looked into it yet, but the rear brakes off of a newer blaster might bolt on. Its a much better system.
