Something aint right. They didnt release the 87 250r 3wheelers. Only a few made it to the sales floor because of the ban on them. If that is indeed an 87, that guy has a very rare unit & it is worth a ton of cash. Although the elusive 87 250r had white plastic, the 85-86 had the red plastic & blue seat.
I wish I still had my 86, it would make 3wheeler lovers drool.

I'm telling you guys thats a regular 87 trx250r with ugly plastic and a atc seat. You can see the factory frame rails going to the front bumper. You can tell a conversion kit right away super cheesy looking.

thats a '86 trx frame, you can tell by the extra support in front of the nerf bar, 87's dont have that

oh and those are just goofy looking plastics you can get from maire, looks like he bent the hood down to be flush with the front of the frame instead of sticking straight out.

That is one ragged hunk of S#!t.  Probably been sitting under a tarp like the rest of the stuff in the picture.  Rear tires are bald.  Fugly aftermarket plastic. Twist throttle, and where did he get the headlight?  Not even the 1981 ATC 250r had a round headlight. 

I don't mean to be so critical but when the title says in Excellent condition and somebody didn't know any better.

I'd like to see pictures of what he describes as "runs good" or "needs a little work".
