It's coming up quick! We would love to see a record SSQSA crowd there this weekend! The early birds were out in force these past few days to get a jump on the practicing! Grin

If anyone has any trouble with the neighbors on the way in or out please let us know, and let the police know also. The number for the local sheriff is 386 362-2222. We don't expect any trouble, but it wouldn't be the first time.

Thanks

Concerning the neighbors:

I was leaving yesterday afternoon and a trailer and RV had gotten stuck in the soft sand while letting another truck pass.  The friendly truck stopped to help the trailer and RV.  While all of this was going on, the pesky neighbors decided to come out and test out there detective photography skills.  Just a heads up, they were taking pictures of us.  I  was pulled off to the side of the road to get out of my truck to see if i could help(the RV was blocking the road while they were getting it unstuck, and they did get it out no problem with the very helpful person with the truck).  So yes, the guy took a nice pic of me and my truck and all the other vehicles.  So just a heads up!  I wanted to go up and ask why he was taking my pic just to see what he would say, but he's a lot bigger then me. lol.  Anyways......hope they don't cause anymore trouble.  This weekend was awesome!  Having all those quads there saturday was GREAT.  I hope we have a record turn out next weekend! :-D

Thanks for the update Em'. It was good to see you out there again and running! Grin Sorry you had pesky neighbor trouble, but they seem to think if they photograph everything that we will go away. I guess they will be disappointed! Cry

Make sure you bring some WARM clothes, this sure aint Florida weather we're getting right now with it in the low 20s. Suppose to warm up over the weekend, but it sure don't feel like it right now.

We had a great time this weekend. Lyndon got some needed practice on hard pack. It was fun for me watching Chad, Lawson, Brown, Bowen, Matt, Devin, Kyle, Lyndon and some others run around the track. Some pretty fast young men for sure.

How about a bonfire for Sat evening? Just a thought.

We will be there for sure.

Toast Sounds good to me.  If the track officials don't mind we can bring a couple empty 55 gallon drums to use for fires   Yup!

You dont need practice!!! Try some HGH!! It cures everything.
As old as you are, It sure would'nt hurt!
I unfortunately will not be there to watch. I want to go bad, but Im headed to Nashville for the whole following week.
I just got signed to a record label and have to spend the whole week laying down new tracks. Roll Eyes

Some drums would be fine. I don't have any problem with that. We are talking about maybe doing a bonfire, but it will depend on how the day goes. We look forward to seeing you all there.

Best Western is where we usually stay. We tried the Econo Lodge once and were not real happy. Also, there are talks of Best Western possibly giving discounts to the racers in the future, so we should show that there are enough people staying there for the track to make it worth it to them  Wink

What a FANTASTIC weekend! I really had a great time! Man o man the racing this weekend was insane. There were some incredible battles out on the track this weekend. My personal favorite was the battle between Evan Bump #32 and Neal McGrath #30 in the 2nd moto 16-24. I talked to both of them after the race and they both said that was the best time they have had in a LONG time! I loved getting to watch the women's race. Sam is on FIRE on that 150! I am 100% impressed! That girl is going to be T-R-O-U-B-L-E when she moves to the womens national classes.

Thank you Brett, Yolanda, Tepi and all of the SSQSA and the AMP crew for putting on a great weekend.

See you @ Dade City!

I want to thank Brett for bringing the SSQSA to our track once again. And everyone that showed up for having patience with us. We are still learning the ropes and everyone was great. Some awesome races to be sure.

Thanks to Don Blue for providing us with top notch equipment and operators to keep the track in great shape. Thanks to Chris Johnson for hooking us up with a killer sound system.

There are some great pictures of the race at www.jaychambliss.com . About 450 pictures, so I'm sure there's one of about everyone! Hope to see all of you again next year!
