FTR MX meeting is next Sat night at Reddick. I was wonding how many people would support a mini-quad class. If we want this as an FTR class next year it has to be passed this year. The only way to pass the class is to change the rules in the FTR rulebook, and this must be sumited in writing at this meeting. If anyone is interested let me know.

Hey LTZ, you don't need to buy a 80 your bike is slow enough that you should fit right in. JK Grin

Yes we will help support it, we tried to it passed for the XC part of FTR but they said they didnt have room.

You need to post all info on this now. Time, place, date, some directions.

Hey thanks for the heads up.
Count us in but need info as we our family races XC and the MX would be all new to us.

I talked to the quad rep. Sat. I'm not real good at this kind of thing. Nightbreed I may not make it up on Sat. Can someone e-mail FTR and get the ball rolling. From what I understand we just need to write up a proposal. I think we also need to come up with what classes we want.    Thanks

i think a 50 based and 90 based class would do the trick(not putting a whole lot of emphasis on rules to start, this will allow everyone to fit some where keeping count higher)we would support this class ,i would like to try the old guy class but my son has to have a gate before i race...

Hey Everyone-

I have wrote up a proposal for FTR to get the youth involved in our MX series.  The Meeting is Sat., Nov 13,2004 at Redick MX Round.  The meeting is at 6:00 PM after sign in and Practice.
I am proposing 3 classes.
0-50cc     4-8 years old
51-90cc  7-12 years old
91-200 cc 2 stroke/ 91 -300 4 stroke.
If yall can make it to support our youth it would be great.

Post more later.

The 200/300 class is probably more likely to happen if it's on the same gate as the quad womens' class since FTR is concerned about time.  Neither class gets huge entires so it probably wouldn't be a problem that way.  The race schedule wouldn't suffer whatsoever.  *Just pointing that out.*

Hey Kev96-

I may need you to present the proposal to the commitiee.  I'll call David Hall and find out if it has to come from one of us or if he can do it.  I'll send you a copy of the proposal that I gave him at Redick.

450rutmaker-
I wish that there was a way to accomidate everyone but the class structure that I have gone by is the class structure for the Nationals.  You have to start somewhere.  i did drop the age one year for the 51-90cc class (from 8-12 to 7-12).

Ok.  Sat is the day for the meeting.  It is at Waldo.  I wish that I could be there but......

Kev96--I talked to David Hall tonight.  He is going to submit the proposals.  I do need you to stop sometime during the day and talk to him.  Ask to see the proposals and add anything that you think needs to be.

For anyone that is going to be at Waldo,  PLEASE go to this meeting.   We need to show that there is a need for these classes for our youth.

I will see yall Sunday at the races!!!

It will be after the practice on Sat.

The last one was going to be at 6:00.

Not sure about this one but it is probably around the same time.
