ok here's what i heard today,a kart customer went there sat nite said the track was terrible, the quads race after the kart program is over, some of the quad riders were openly drinking and were allowed to race...the source is very reliable, take it for what you will...i have raced there many times, the track used to be a 1/4 mile...5 or so years ago it was shortened up a bit and id say it now a generous 1/5 mile..its laid out similar to dade city just longer straights...the tracks is usually slick red ga clay but i guess this new owner doesnt water the track much,i heard it was a sand pit last weekend...the sand is even harder to get a grip on than the wet, good luck if you try it out....

1/5?  Thats small. I guess maybe 3rd all the way around. :-/
Hope they open Hendry back up. We were in 5th in the corners and shifting into 6th at the end of the strights.  14-37 gears on my R .

He was whining about all the mud but the 2nd night he raced he finished 1st in both his heats and the main. He is super nice and drives along way to race with us. And yes he did say he raced at Hendry up til that track closed.
