More then likely it is probably someone that visits the board, because our Email addies are on the board, I didnt get the email, I got an Instant Message via AOL. Also it's not a bad thing that you got an email, its a good thing, how many other track owners do you know would go out of there way, or hire someone to get the word out? Not many, they are trying to help us make the ATV racing culture bigger. It all starts somewhere and 1 small email is a good way to get started. Think about it everyone is on the internet nowadays, 1 email turns into 5000, and bam you have a huge event with possible TV coverage... Instead of looking for reasons to bash someone(not saying you were), lets try to help them out.

i dunno? DS is not going to let knobbys run forever. all of us with flattrack tires will get ya in the corners anyway...

dadecity will allow nobbies as long as they race the flat track...from what ive seen of the quads on the flattrack not many of them(i didnt say all)know anything about circle track racing...theres only a couple guys ive seen out there that know how to run a line that doesnt kill the motor in the corner..one of the fastest quads ive seen out there was on nobbies...if the tracks gets a hard groove the flattrack tires will free the quad up in the corners, but they plan to drag the track every few classes so i dont see it getting a very solid groove...i would like to see some mini quad racers, i will build a quad for my son if some others start to come...dont know if you guys are aware or not but next year randy is planning a combined flattrack/mx series.....

Starting next season i was told flattrack tires were the rule and we field 3 bikes out there. I know you know how we are because i read the post someone put about randy and you were a big contributer to that post. i disagre with your knobby is faster comment. our bikes placed 2 and 3rd the first race weekend (aka mudfest Grin) and 2 and 3 again the week after on flattrack tires not to mention heat 1 and 2 were won buy a bike with flattrack tires and the other bikes had knobbys all the way around... so im not sure what your seeing..maybe you should race with us since you seem to know how its done...

no where in my post did i say nobbies were faster and i plan on racing with you when more than two guys learn to ride..all i said was other than a couple of guys tires arent a factor..ive made more laps in a circle than i care to mention..i've also forgotten more about a machine go left than most people will ever know...maybe randy has changed his mind but i was told there wasnt going to be a tire rule...if he goes to a tire rule he pretty much kills any chance of getting the mxér to participate...i will run the flat track because i love to race and oval is my game.i enjoy mx but dont have time for me and my son to race on a points nite(he aquires all my attention)just out of curiosity are you guys scaling the quads???

i was refuring to the "one of the fastest bike ive seen are on knobbys" post..

nah were not scaling them, but i have had a HUGE problem getting my gearing right, my engine is built totaly different that of our others so its hard for me to compare with the other banshee's we have, its lke im stuck between gears..... about 3/4 in the straight im pegged...ill try to figure it out at practice i guess.. my thoughts are  if they keep allowing knobby tires its taking away the true meaning of flattracking...

i have several championships and won multiple 50 lappers at the motorsportmania complex....the track is layed out well,it has so ga red clay,if the track is ran in the daytime it gets a blue groove harder than asphalt..at nite it super slick...i can give you some tips on prep that works well on this track..just curious who beat you guys the first two races?i was at the mx track the nite of the opener but it went so quickly i didnt get to see any of the racing..there have been a couple hybrids on mx tires that were flying, ive seen you guys ride and if the marbles werent on the hi groove you would be alot faster..are you adj your gear from the countershaft or axle....you guys have some sweet looking bikes, too much polishing for me though Grin Grin

i noticed you avioded my whos the 2 fast guys?... Tongue
ive been moving the rear around. if the track was cosistant or blue i would be set.. but when its wet it bogs in the corner even if i make a wider line... gets agervaiting.
1 first sat was tim he rides a black 450, my bro came in 2nd and i came in 3rd. thats was the night it rained the track was just mud and flat track tires do not hookup in that mess. last sat was a guy on a blue and white FT banshee, my bro again and my dad was 3rd riding my bike. i had to go out of town.. my bike is the 07 bike.. but im sure you figured that out... by bro rides the other blue banshee and my dad rode the white 250r which was stolen the sun after the first race.. he's now looking for another bike.. i just made mine super wide on all 4, ill try things out thursday

no offense but with the current condition of the race track the 4 stroke has the edge....the wet track doesnt make them bog as bad and they like to lug anyway...i would like to see it get hard and fast ,i think they want the soft cushion to prevent the wall from getting too close..how did they do the starts and how many quads did they race at one time?i would really like for some mini quads to show if you know of any spread the word..i wont say who i thought was the fastest to keep from hurting anyones feelings, cause its just my opinion,i didnt have a stopwatch to back it up...i have a friend who rides with you guys on thursday nites on the yellow r...its down a lil on horsepower but hes an old flat tracker a loves the track,i cant talk him into putting his hybrid back out there...

sinn right? he runs 5 laps and hes done, i think hes more of an mxr. i heard he has a 450 he likes to run, havent seen it though. well since you havent seen any of the races and the 3 of us have been the only bikes practicing, its not to hard to figure this out. i assume your not talking about me as being fast. just keep in mind none of us are young, hell my dads 56 and he races still, we really dont out there to win we go out there to be a family. however, i think if i lost some weight i might improve as well....

My brother and i were out at dade city one practice night tearing the flat track up on knobbys. They worked very well out there and I would be hard pressed to say that flat track tires would be able to perform better. Just my opinion! Its a different kind of dirt!
