Jacksonville Scramble Posponed!?

Not again! Read it on the FTR site. They're saying the date is not yet dead they are looking for other land. Man the luck!

I want to thank's the hosting club at Jax, I know they have been working hard to make this race possible but yet another problem shows up for them, they are looking for another property, I'm sure they will find the right one, thanks again

The January 12, 2008 RCDR Quad Scrambles has been postponed. The SADRA Quad Scrambles will now be Q/S #6 on February 9, 2008.

Hey Mike, They rescheduled the Jax race, actually they kept the Jan 12 date but moved the location to Myakka. You should try to make this one, after all your in a three way tie for the lead.

I don't think it's a Quad Scramble I think there is a Hare Scramble in Okeechobee. I just checked the FTR site and saw nothing about  another Quad Scramble that weekend. No points awarded in the Hare Scrambles. So it would just be a race for practice and I'd rather ride the Motoplex that weekend cause its closer to me than Okeechobee. They have a pretty good trail for practice up there and it's a whole lot cheaper.

_{We recieved approval from the E.C. to move our date from Feb. to the Jan. 12 date for our quad event. Saqr and Sadra will join forces to promote this event. It will be held back the Myakka property off of sugarbowl road, where we had it back in November. Flyer should be on line in a day or so.
The Feb. 9th date is open for a quad event, any club wanting to take that date must send a request to the E.C. very soon, not much time to make this happen.}



This is off FTR...as you can see Feb date goes to Jan 12 and the Feb date is open....we still have a postponement from QS1 back in sept. and as far as us RCDR..might have news after this weekend...thinking April

Man that sure doesn't leave much time to get a trail laid out or will it be the same one we ran last time? Anyone know? SAQR and SADRA sure are steppin up for us Quad guys and I for one appreciate it.

Ok Everyone!!!!  Listen up!!! 

The weekend of Jan. 12th there WILL BE a Quad Scramble in Myakka City at the Clay Gully Rd. property.  It is not a Hare Scramble and it is for points.  It it being hosted by SADRA, and SAQRA.  We need rider support here guys, we need to get the numbers back up so we don't go in the negative on this one....

We spent the weekend out at the property, and we were very excited to see that a couple of areas of the property that we were not previously able to use due to water will be usable provided we don't get any more rain.  Also, while we were scouting, we found some more uncharted territory, and we figure we can come up with about 6.5 miles, with 85% of it being fresh new trail. I am confident that as we get going we will be able to increase the mileage a little. There are some areas we haven't been before, and other areas that we used last year that has healed up so well we didn't realize at first that we had gone that way before.  Because of the creek that runs through the property, there are some things (like some of the small water crossings) that we can't help but use each time, but this track is going to be a lot of fun!!! We are using the creek jump again, but not the big bridge, that will be a pedestrian bridge to the spectator area we have planned.  We are also building a new bridge, but the details won't be revealed.  All I will say is, it's something you definitely have not seen at any FTR event. Maybe after Christmas I'll post some pictures of our progress!!!  So to answer the burning question... No, the track will not be the same that you have raced before at Myakka, but never has Myakka been anything but FUN!!!  Bring a friend!!!
