lol hasnt been a bike beat rtr bike huh  man were was the rtr bikes the first race of the series at sandmountain   i do belive there was a few there and not only did rick out run them so did kevin kern   ohhhh   i hope there a hall of fame of some sort cause come  jan 2nd gonna be ablack z400  that will be a rtr beater lol  i may not be able to beat u yet  but i have been racing for 4  or 5 months brotha  i will be there   but for now rick will have to do it


by the way rick used to beat your dad back in the day  and i belive  your dad was rtr still back then right??just thought i would add that

Damn there's alot of smack talk goin' on in here. From what I'm reading, all the money dumped into some of these bikes you better be winning something. If not, you need to get out of the game . It's fun watching you guys compete in the Open Am, Open Expt classes. Hell, I think the open Beg. classes are hauling ass . It's all in fun though I hope.

I was trying to figure out which one of those Hondas was you. There were a few out there haulin' ass. Sorry that I didn't call ya like I said. I was kinda excited and wrapped up in the moment getting ready for my 1st race. I'll definitely hook w/ you guys on the 2nd. Just let me know where you guys are on the 2nd. You might not want my 4stroke over there w/ those mean 2 strokes .

just had to toss in my two cents..so here goes....first off all of yall remember this....jt talks a whhhooooleee lot a chit...but you know why he does.....cause he can!!! and everyone needs to quit hatin cause i can tell you from years of experience..if you want it fast...rick todd can make it that way. i have been out run by rtr bikes my whole life...not always grant you...but alot. so, just cause someones beating the crap out of you every week is no reason to talk like his stuff is crap. hell, i remember the first sand mount. race his dad run on that banshee....i smoked him on a stock raptor!!...i mean bone stock!!! course, i actually beleive the bike had tooo much power for rick on that track. the second moto he wrecked it. sooo, you can get lucky on anything....but i will tell you. that banshee was the fastest bike there....period!!! hell, call curtis sparks and tell him to come see....it dont take a blind man!!! and lets not forget...curtis martin builds a hell of a machine...been doin it for years too. so his bikes are no slouch!! but, you can put a cripple blind man on a rocket to race a turtle and he will lose...hence, bike is only as fast as the rider!!!! period!!! if you want to claim ya have the fastest bike..well then drag race it, cause any ole chump can go fast in a straight line. thats why there is so many people at saltsdale....hell my little girl is 6 and she can open my raptor all the way up...man thats tough.  
as far as ricky hines is concerned....hes a punk!!!....lmao..actually, put him out there and he will run with the big dogs....if he has a bike thats pretty decent. sand mountain is a drag race pretty much lets not forget!!! also, give me a rtr bike and ill run with whoever is there. j.t. ricky, joey...you name it. but, i havent spent a billion dollars on my quad and if i had the money rick todd would be the one i'd choose...so instead, i go out and run the stock bike and beat up suckers with moocho money in there machines just to laugh when they come back next week having spent more money and get beat again!!!!

ps. dont take all this too seriously cause i talk smack too....but remember this!! you all ride good....ive seen ya...but nobody is unbeatable!!!!! so, i wouldnt bet my bank brandon...anything can happen!!!!

Actually, I think it's pretty petty to argue over WHO BUILDS A FASTER BIKE THAN WHO. Noone at Sandmountain is gettin' paid or is on TV to do any racing. If you think you're "That Fast" you need to compete in some real races w/ dudes that'll ride backwards on most of us at Sandmountain and still win. I think you guys are losing site of the big picture, that's to have fun and compete. Win gracefully and lose gracefully as well. Just my .02 on this whole thing.

I've just got one thing to say about all of this.  (and no I haven't been out to Sandmountain yet)  But where would you put your money first if you wanted to go faster on a track like sandmountain or a MX track?  Engine or Suspension?  I'll take suspension any day of the week.
 
I ride a STOCK YFZ450 and I dont care what motor work you have done, if it is still in the same class, I will be in the top 3 into the first turn.  (Usually 1st).  I'm not braggin but I get a good jump off the gate.  Always have.  But what hurts me is no suspension later in the race.  It takes it's toll on this old body.

Even the pros will tell you to stay as close to stock on the motor.  If you dont your going to dump a ton of jack into it trying to fix it.  and do it more often.  

I'm looking forward to coming out there to see what it is all about.  Never been on a track that is as smooth as Sandmountain looks.

well l.ooks like i will be racing a stock 400 motor next race  since suzuki dont know how to tightin bolts when they put a engine together  5 bolts hold the magnet to the starter clutch backed out  and shredded the stator and busted the megnet all up all the shaving went into the motor just bombed the whole thing  lol  all the engine work down the drain lol cant believe it   oh well just a warning to all u racing a z400 u better jerk that side cover off and lock tight and re tourqe  thos ethings trust me not worth  it to not take 30 min and do dthat      we gotta split the case and everything sooo  not good but i will be out there jan 2nd ready to eat some ass   but i dunno if  i will have enough motor  but i  will ride the hell out of it anyway lol  see yall there

YANKED THE MOTOR DOWN TODAY!  Just the top end!  Gonna put it back together this week.  Ill see if I can make it fast this time!!  Im tired of relying on riding ability to win! Its starting to wear me out!!  

I need a little RACES2WIN out there!  Maybe I can get a few riding lessons. Of course Ill have to slow down to get them!

Hell, i know im good enough to be! And definately endowed enough!!  But I choose a different path!!  Come on man, there is only so much you can do with a motor!  Years and Years of experience will put anybody in the same boat as someone else, no matter how big your name is!!
What it boils down to is-
1. personal touch- i cant send my motor off and get it back and trust that it will be right!! Lets face it, it comes off an assembly line! Curtis Sparks, CT, Trinity, Wicked, or anyone else is personally building these bikes.
2. Tuning- I personally have my bikes tuned to my riding style! Balls to the wall!!! Wound out to the max!! Other people ride a little smoother and more conservative! That bring jetting, suspension, gearing, tranny, all the way down to tire pressure into play!!

Can we get over this crap, and get back to what is MOST IMPORTANT!!  That is - THAT I AM KING!! AND YOU GIRLS CANT HANG!!

im hopin to make it out the second...just not sure whats on the schedule as of yet!!!   just got my 900 stroker motor hooked up to the nitrous on the raptor....and hell, i decided to take the damn shocks off it...just slows it down. so all is left is to install the seatbelts and break it in!!

hey jason seriously  man personal touch  lol  how sthis for personal touch i never  did anything to my motor bought my carb jetted  engine wa sdone and shipped to me and i know for fact i   my bike is not fastest 4 stroke out there but will keep up with any z400 out there now u can build a z400 and do what u liek to do to tthe motor and i bet anything u cant make it any faster using the same parts  tc used to build my motor i mean i guess i see were your coming from about rtr 's personal touch plus 2strokes are a lil different than 4 strokes but 4 strokes i dont think personal touch has mucht effect
