The Off-Road Vehicle (ORV) Advisory Committee for the Big Cypress National Preserve in Ochopee, FL, will convene on November 29th for its inaugural meeting. The committee was established according to the Preserve’s 2000 Recreational Off-road Vehicle Management Plan, accessible by clicking here. The committee was created to examine issues and make recommendations regarding the management of ORVs in the Preserve. The objective of this first meeting is to set the parameters and ground rules for operation of the committee. The meeting is open to the public
