3500$ sounds about right for a 16 year old truck. I know you and your dad just painted it but from the looks of the pictures it is pretty rough up close.

So I say to you spark plug hope you don't meet me on the trails as I have a big roost for you and thank you for being the straw that broke the camels back as I will never look at this site again.

You guys are nuts. I have a 93 K-5 Blazer in good condition with 140k and I'm offered 5k at least once a month for it. I know I could get 6k if I advertised and held out. Any older 4x4 in good to great shape should bring around 5k.

We all know every one wants to get top dollar for what we are trying to sell, but the real question (to the seller is) honestly ask yourself what would you pay for this if you were to purchase it from someone else? Because everyone buying also wants to get the best deal for what they have purchased...

Mike a Huge difference in a Tahoe and a Reg Cab 4x4. You are correct about your Tahoe or a Extended cab being a5k plus truck in good shape....Reg cab is another story. IMO 3500 is more acurate value. But what do I know...Its worth what you can get someone to pay for it

he might have just painted it but it wasnt a great job. its not too clear. it does look kinda crappy. it shouldnt reflect all blurry like that. all the cars ive ever seen with good paint are like mirrors. clear and shiny. there aint no way hes gonna get 5k. thats crazy. if it had 30k miles maybe. if its worth 5k, then my F250 is worth 20k. lmao!

He just needs to do the final wet sand with 2000 grit and then final polish that's how the shine happens. Plus you get rid of all the orange peel. Once again my dodge has about the same miles and it's extended cab, but now all you high payers are getting me excited so I won't take a penny less than 15,000.

I think your right. The paint job looks good but it does need to be cut n polished to bring out the shine right.

But what do I know...Its worth what you can get someone to pay for it Best advise here. And I have never seen KBB buy a vehicle, ever. KBB is just a guide. You take one truck this old and it could be in great shape and another could be road hard and put up wet and ready for the junk yard. This one doesn't look to bad. The regular cab could hurt it or help it, depending on the buyer.

If your selling it I like e-bay. It is a good way to determine what fair market value will bring.Plus your auction is nationwide and if there is a demand for it, it will sell. Forget about all the ying yangs here

chad, if i were you i would go ahead and do the wet sand, its no big deal. just go to the hardware stoire and buy some 2000 grite sandpaper(feels like theres no grit but there is) and just sand it and have spray botle or just run the garden hose while your sanding it. then just polish it up. also if you throw the newer style reviews and new marker lights(orange side lights) and headlightes it would look like a new truck. and just so you all know hes not selling the truck he just wants to see what you guys think its worth since he just painted it and it looks WAY beter than it did whene he got it. he looked for trucks for months and months and trust me that truck is not worth 3k.
