2 friends of mine have  04 500 sportsman HO, the display is flashing "HOT" "HOT" "HOT. I have cleaned the radiator to a shine, changed the fluid and the fan works. What can it be?

hey my brute had the same problem if u remout your radatior on top of your bars it will fix the problem

Does it start flashing as soon as the bike starts? even if the motor is cool? If it does it a sensor,under the headlight,under the frt fender.I cant recall
what it cost but I had to go to the dealer to get it,boy I got it all right Shocked Cry Kiss Pm me I can get the part name 4 u.I have low folks in hi places now
to get better price on parts.
