kfx 400
400 lt
banshee
blaster
250r
which one do you think would be the best? My parents may buy the ds650 off of the one guy in here for me. possibly may buy a raptor off of friend cause his brother ran from the cops, doing 85+ they said. parents got pissed and are making him sell and maybe his truck which is a beast. 2001 f150 with like 1 ft lift 4x4.. pretty good for someone that doesnt go to high school and isnt even 18

I think that your best bet, and best bang for the buck would be either the ltz400, kfx400, or the dvx400, all from the factory have one of the plushest rides and most perdictable rides! pluss the motors have a bit more potential being twin cams, apposed to the 400ex which is still a single cam motor. the march issue of dirt wheels has a good shoot out between the new 400ex and the z400 they spell it out in all aspects which one is the better and faster quad stock! the ds 650 is a great dunes bike but is very wide, and heavy. so depending on your size I would recomend the z400 or either of its clones I think they are one of the all around best! I personally own the dvx400, have owned a warrior  , a three hundred ex, and rode many 400ex if you would like you could pm me for any other questions you might have I am not the most knowlagable person but can do my best to help you out! The best racing quads are
250r was the best
450r
yfz450
ltz400
and 300ex for a entry level quad
blaster are fast but break down and blow up too much

You can change your sprockets and put a pipe on, get jets, and remove the airbox and it'll get up there. But a stock 450 only runs around 73mph. I'd say the 450 or the TRX 450. If you're gonna get one, get one of the best. Oh, and don't let one of these 2stroke nuts talk you into buying a 2stroke. You'll spend hella lots of money in maintnance. Also you want longevity. |

i thought it did. ive seen post on another atv forum showed results of a few yfz450s test runs and some raptors. to many say it goes 80+ stock... psh idk, idc really yfz out of my range for now.. i do like the honda 450r alot though. btw whats the difference between dohc and sohc. i know the kfx400 and yfz450 are DOHC and others like hondas and quite a few utilties are all SOHC far as i know

id say go for a 400 like the kfx400,ltz400,or dvx400 id say those r the best but thats just my opinion[do not no how to spell that]  but for my self i like the kfx400. |

If your going to trail ride the bike the I know you can pick up a TRX250R cheap ever since the 450R came out. It hurt the 250R market. Great handleing bike and fun to ride. I own a TRX250R and YFZ450 and I love em both. Enjoy whatever you get. Dont get a Raptor. Its a POS.
