First off, they didn't steal anyones money. I don't believe they said that they were not going to complete the raffle and not offer refunds. I'm not afraid to call them, but I feel no need to. Ill could talk to Mark at the next event, hes always at the gate when I roll in Friday night, but I wont waste my time, I know the raffle will happen.... eventually.

Don't think for a second that they have not been reading this thread. Anyone can log in on someone elses computer and remain anonymous. I have read plenty of posts from Patty in the past where she defended L-cross and it's actions at certain events. She has debated with several people on here in the past.The difference from then until now is "THEY ARE WRONG"!!! Their acting like cowards as far as I'm concerned. They have three options. 1, Admit the raffle was poorly handled. 2, Defend their actions and explain their intentions or 3, Act like dishonest cowards. They obviously have shown their true colors. It reminds me of a verse from a classic STEVE MILLER song.Can anyone guess what it is?

Dyno, I have never met anoriginal, but i would never debate with him.  Him being an attorney just makes everyone he debates with look stupid.  Anytime I see him posting in a post, I always get a kick out of it.

That's funny.  So you believe everything that comes out of Anoriginal mouth or your scared to debate him.  He's just like a typical republican that thinks if he talks like he knows what he is talking about or talks down to people all the weak minded people will listen.  By his post he seems to lean toward this republican administration and if that does not tell you something then I don't know what would.  I would find somebody else to look up to.

I don't look up to anyone, trust me, I am a leader not a follower.  I do however admire his debating skills, because they are a step above the rest.  He is after all an attorney, they are good at that.  Is that a bad thing that he leans towards the republican side?  Can't believe someone would want to drag politics into another thread just to MUDDY it up.

I remember when a member had his quad stolen overnight at an event a year or so ago & Mrs L-Cross was defending their place to the hilt. I knew then I would never go there. If you cant sleep without fear of losing your posessions that you work hard for & cost several thousands of dollars, then why ever go.
If I wanted to see naked chics, I will go to a strip bar. I have seen the naked pics from lcross & have yet to see anything impressive, except one pic of a camel-toe under a c-section scar you could drive a rhino thru and clear on both sides. That one scarred my eyes for life. The impressive thing was she wasnt arrested for assault!!!

Greenmachine, just keep in mind that you better keep your quad locked up and at home. Because if you camp and ride, it has potential to get stolen anywhere. How many time have you heard of quads stolen at big scrub, croom and many other riding areas.

I always will have my quads locked up beleive that. I am just saying, since lcross is a closed environment with a gate & supposedly someone manning it at all times to prevent them from losing money to people who try to sneak in, that shouldnt have happened.
I will start camping when i get an enclosed trailer or hauler.
These are my opinions & I am aware that thieves are everywhere.

In March of 2006 L-Cross decided to hold a raffle for a Artic cat. We were going to sell tickets for $10.00 each, for every 5 you bought at one time you received an additional one for free. There were a total of 1,500 to do this with. After 8 months of trying to sell the tickets we had only sold 273. We were asked by our customers to change the raffle from an Artic cat to a Rhino. After 3 months of advertising on our site and this one, we posted anyone who wanted a refund could have one. If not they could  hold on to the original tickets and they would be honored in the new rhino drawing. In order to get out of the agreement we had with the Artic cat dealership we gave them all of the money that was collected so far. We started fresh with 1,000 tickets for the Rhino drawing in November of 2006 the #'s are 500 - 1,000. We have less than 100 tickets left and will be having the raffle in December in public on the L-Cross stage and one Lucky winner will win the 2007 Rhino that we have advertised for the past 11 months. We have not done anything wrong. The negative posts have not helped ticket sales that's for sure.It is not unusual that high dollar prizes take a year to sell all of the tickets. Also, remember we are only open 17 times a year to sell these tickets. It is not like we are open 7 days a week for business and can sell these tickets every day. Yes, we were ready to suck it up as you say regardless of how many tickets were sold and had the machine there to give it away at the ATV Rally had attendance been greater than it was. But, with only 700 people in attendance at that event and 10% of that going to Shawn & Paul we were barely able to cover the expenses for that event. We had to cover toilets, security, entertainment,insurance and many more expenses. So, with fuel prices being what they are, we have made it thru another year and have tried to give all of you a safe place to come with families every month and 5 times a year without your children and be sure that there are not any families that are offended by beads, etc. We have only done the best we can do with our business and will continue to make improvements as time goes on.

As far as not responding in a timely fashion to this thread, I have been with my sister in Ft Lauderdale as she has had colon cancer surgery and if any of you know someone who has had this surgery you know it is something you need alot of support with. Therefore, yes someone alerted me to this, I read it and I thought it was the same thing that has been going on with the same people as usual. However, now that I am home and have time to read it I understand how it is easy to get caught up in all of this if you do not know Mark & I. I hope I have set some of the record straight. I truly apologize for the raffle taking so long. We advertised that we would raffle the Rhino when all 1,000 tickets were sold and anyone wanting a refund had 90 days to get one. All tickets that have been sold will be honored and we will do this raffle in December on the Stage in Public for everyone to see. L-Cross is a family owned and operated business and we have always done everything by the book! The raffle will be held at the adult event on Saturday night December 29th!
