its a 2000 banshee..i turn the wheel all the way left and the inside of the left rim can touch the a arm..when i turn all the way right..there is no contact..it stops before it touches anything..i can see where paint is scrapped off of the a arm where the left riim rubs..how do i fix this? and is it major? i jump but not huuge air..like maybe 6 ft or so..and 15 ft long at most..i've ridden it maybe 6 hours and haven't had any problems with the steering..but i noticed this problem since day 1..waht do you all think?

Are both the tires straight when the bars are straight? Have you checked the toe? I would start by checking the toe. Do you know how to do that?

Your stem "stops" might be bent. On some bikes the stops are rubber and one might have come out.

Or....you could have a bent frame, a-arm, tie rod

Go here---->http://www.wrcracing.com/technical-support/<----to find out how to adjust toe
