How cool is that! Glad you took some pics.
The first time I rode ONF, we came to a trail intersection and as we were figuring where to next, I looked down and saw these huge tracks. Never saw anything like that except in Cub Scouts so I knew what it was, just couldn't believe what I was seeing. Thats when my friends "Oh yeah, there are bears here."
About an hour later we saw one crossing the road as we were talking to a ranger. It would have been easy 8 feet tall if it stood up. We felt really privileged to have seen that

Good thing the rangers weren't around. Those are protected wetlands and that bear would have gotten a ticket.

I have seen 2 bears in my years of riding Ocala,They were memorable moments.it is cool to see such an animal while I am riding with my family. That is what I love about that place. I have seen turkeys coyote, deer. It looks like that deer is making good use of our trails, doesn't look like it hurts them at all, just a road for them like you and me.

but yet all of us "atver's" want to do is destroy the forest.  Roll Eyes Leaf lickers dont realise you dont have to be a leaf licker to enjoy the beauty on wild animals, especially ones as big and powerful as the black bear.

going up and down the hills with kd 450, i saw what appeared top be a dog on the next ridge so we floored it at it. then stop. time we got there the bear was stanting there then it looked at us then just walk right into the brush. then we were riding and a bear walk right in front of us and stood on two legs. i amost craped in my pants cause it was 5ft away. then i reved up my engine and it ran off into the trees. close call be careful out there
