Thanks all.
Yes it's heavy! My shin bone bent the rear grab bar! he rear grab bar returned the favor.
Many thanks for the kind wishes. I will heal and I will return. I just don't know if it is in myu best interest to compete anymore. I have lived the dream and am no facing what I always prayed would never happen to me. Work is very important. No work- no money. No money- no dreams.
Haven't even unloaded my quad.
I found I am allergic to percocet. So no pain meds.
I am so glad I had my safety gear on.

Thanks again for the kind words. I appreciate the support.
I was testing out my new Elka's. I was having a blast! My friends and I thought it would be a great place to go seeing that we have a hare scramble there next week. The Elka widened my quad even more and the woods course was too tight for fun. I hit every tree. So I decided to stay and play on the mx portion. Everything was going fine until I ran out of talent. I was going  at a pretty good pace and came off a wierd jump that has three levels to it followed by some whoops. I took the middle line and hit that jump and made it a single jump instyeads of three. When I landed in the whoops, insdtead of holding it down, I let off the throttle. WRONG MOVE! My machine bucked me like a rodeo bull rider and finished up by flipping over and landing right on top of me. I can only imagine the horror felt by anyone who was watching. There were a lot of people around me shding me and keeping me down. My first instinct was to walk it off...
This arm sling thing suc ks.
... That wasn't happening. This one rider in particular helped me out be NOT letting me up.
I think the coughing up blood did it for him.
All is well though. I am lucky to be only this hurt. I have crashed many times and have been even more lucky.
This is now affecting my job and that is not good. My co-workers have rallied behind me and are working for me on Sat to help finish my route. One of my customers has offered to pay my medical expenses!! Fourtunately, I am insured. But what an act of compassion. I am a pest control tech and tell my cutomers of my hobbies and show them pictures. Some of you are in those pictures.
Okay sorry for rambling. I think the percs are taking over.
Please ride safe and wear your gear. I know my helmet saved me from further hurt and so did my boots.
Okay, on to another sleepless night.
