How was it? trail's in good shape, did they get any rain lately. Did the ranger sgive you a hard time. Sorry for all the questions, I am thinking about going there in the next few weeks.I was interested in knowing how all the new rules are working out.I hope you did enjoy your ride, nice day here not that hot lot's of cloud cover.

lots of rain...beats dust though....the longleaf trail(yellow) is in terrible shape....can you say whoops.....the tobacco trail(blue) is not bad...definitely some mud holes....but it's prob the best bet ....i started down the pipeline trail(brown) last week and turned around due to fallen trees...I coulda used a chain saw at times today...i'm not sure who's supposed to be riding and checking these trails for things like fallen trees much less grooming them but they don't get around often...I rode the perimeter of the Delancy Loops Trail(purple) it's not bad as far as whoops...a few trees down...but it's so tight it's actually kinda dangerous to me...unless you want to ride 5 mph....the rangers weren't bad...they will definitely check you for everything....the few riders I talked to weren't happy campers..I'm not so sure some of them will return...you definitely don't see the amount of riders you used to...not even close....i guess you have to pay the 10 bucks for a 3 day pass and make the judgement for yourself really...it's definitely not great but i paid my $75 for the yearly pass for no other reason than i won't let them discourage me.....besides....I like screwing with the rangers anyway...i know they love me.... Thanks for the update, I guess less riders means more room for me! I know what you mean, I have ridden the forest since 1995 and it's not what it used to be for sure. Now there will be more whoops, due to a bunch of riders on the same trails. I have not seen many groomed trails, hopefully they will get better in time. Change is always diffucilt at first.
