You'd be surprised at how many people forget to check the gas or turn on the fuel valve.

There's nothing more satisfying then watching someone crank, and crank, and crank, then look around the bike, check everything they can think of and about give up on riding for the day.....then I walk up and flip the fuel valve to the ON position and say "Try it now".  First they smile with amazement when it fires up, then they blush with embarrasment when I answer the "What did you do? " question that inevitably follows.

Someone on this board who rides a Yamaha forgot to turn his fuel valve on at the group ride at Rodman a few years back...(But I won't mention any names)

It happens more than you would imagine.

The funniest thing I've ever seen was when Uncle Rico drove 4 hours to ride the steel kicker ramp down in Miami with the Extreme Crew.

He fires it up, says "I don't need no stinkin' warm up jump"....comes into the ramp hot, pins it to accelerate up the face and bogs....front brakes, flips over the handlebars face first off the ramp and down about 17 feet face first...cracks his helmet and foldshis body like an accordian! Then the quad rolls off the ramp, and misses his head by like 6 inches. It was totally awesome.

What a jackass! Wrecked a brand new 450r...and didn't even get in one jump!

Hey Rico..always check your fuel valve!

I heard Frankie say he was tired of carrying the team and if the rest of you guys don't start pulling your own weight, he's thinking about switching teams!

So, does that mean there's a spot open? Do you have access to your Dad's check book? I can give you my address so you can make me an offer with a big fat check!
