I know many people have had problems with "off brand" bikes and atv's and I have had my fair share also. BUT- I have had WONDERFUL service from the Baja brand (sold mostly thru pepboys). My daughter has a 50cc quad and I have a 125 dirt bike. Now you will never get high performance machines with lots of upgrade parts from any of these manufacturers, but I have ordered parts directly from Baja -ON A SATURDAY!! I recieved the parts on the following friday.  The dirt bike wouldn't fire so I narrowed it down to cdi and coil, I ordered both and they were delivered for $54 TOTAL. The reason I ordered both was because it was so cheap that I didn't want to wait another week if I got the wrong part the first time. I think the cdi was bad because it sat for a year in the shed with out running at all. I sprayed carb cleaner in it and put in new gas, installed the coil and cdi-it started half way thru the first kick.
The little quad lost a bracket somewhere in the woods, I gotr another for $14 delivered to my door. I also have a motortek 175 utility quad that has worked in every job a quad can do for over 5 years. The company went out of business but the parts for the motor are old honda parts. I have put 2 clutches in it over it's life and it still runs great. I won't put any money into it if something else breaks but clutches are normal wear  items, especially since the 175 has done the work of a 350 on MANY different occasions. I am gonna sell the 175 for $350 next month. I don;t need it since I got the King Quad.
So, I don;t know about any brands except the Baja, but the Bajas have given more value than I paid for them. and I would get another for my daughter when she wants to move up. Go ahead and Give Baja Motorsports a call and ask them if the have parts adn manuals and support.
I don't care if anyone buys one, but I feel that they treated me well and I should atleast respond to this post with some positive info.

I hear ya, but most of the parts are just "replace and run", and since they are dirtbikes/atv's, pretty much anyone who can turn a screwdriver can do the work.

Let the Chiness stick to making things like T Shirts and socks and other crap you can buy at Walmart, and leave the mechanical stuff to the rest of the world.

Good luck trying to get PARTS for those Pieces of Crap too.

That's pretty much the same as investing any money in Chinese quads.

My cousin bought his son a baja 90 & it was mudded at RR several times & in the swamp on our property & it ran fine. Now 4 yrs later it stopped having spark, after going thru the wires it had corrosion on the connections. It sat unused for 6 months because of this, he gave it to a friend of ours & he & I went into it, cleaned all the wire connectors & it runs perfect. However i wouldnt own one. They are good starters, but they are disposable. You will never get your money back out of it & you better be able to fix it yourself. They also have no safety items. The kazuma 50 he bought his daughter would start up by electric start while it was in gear!!!! Shocked

I hear alot people say that they are junk but I have had a roketa 110 for my daughter that runs great, We've had it for almost two years now and I've had a few problems with it but nothing big and nothing that I couldn't fix eaisly.
Her stock 110 will keep up with and beat all the 90CC name brands!!!
It's not as good of quality as the name brands but is a great starter quad!!
