Nice shape for a fox body. You don't find too many untouched ones around...at least not for a decent price.

Very nice the LX's were faster than the GT's.
A lot lighter,
Especially the convertible, I think the main reason Ford made them was to increase there sales because the GT's cost a lot more to insure than the LX's.
I don't think the LX is considered a sports car like the GT.

Nice car. Im on my 6th Gt right now (you will see it in the classified section). I dont really care for them once I get them all built and looking good. I think the fun is in building them. Then I sell them to some lucky person that wants a show car already done and not have ot put any work into it themselves.
I belong to a Mustang Club here is Central Florida, so if there are any parts you need, or have a list of parts you'd trade the 400ex for, let me know and Ill see what I can do for you.....just pm me, Mike

It would prob. be more than 17 cents if it said GT on the title, back around '90 when everybody wanted one the insurance was a lot on a GT, I think that's why they started putting the 5.0's in the LX's.
The kid across the street from me just got an old FHP Trooper car, still has the yellow lights in the back window, they had trunks though, not a hatchback.
I've seen a few with the front fenders dented/tweaked from so much torque.

Through Allstate a GT and LX were within a few $ of each other...they mainly look at two things engine size and replacement cost...thus the GT costs more and would cost a little more but from '92-94 you were talking about maybe $50 every 6. LX coupes were the lightest of all the Fox bodies, followed by the LX Hatch. I miss having my Mustangs I had '85 LX Hatch, '87 LX Vert, '89 LX Coupe, '91 LX Hatch, '92 LX Hatch, '00 GT.

You had a lot of Mustang's, my friend still has his old 69 Mach 1 (351W, green& blk.) but it's kinda rusty.
My uncle had a Mustang II, don't know if it had a 289 or a 302, but he had to put bags of sand in the trunk cause he lived on a dirt road & he would get better traction w/ the extra weight, or he'd get stuck LOL.

that right there is my favorite body style of them all, a coworker has one that is in metallic blue,,,,needs either a good buffing out or a new paint job, but the body is in excellent shape.
