this place is within 6 miles of my house, and about 40 mins north of the florida line in rural south georgia, 350 acres+ to ride, mud bog for atv's and trucks a tractor pull (well atv pull as well) a moto track that is getting worked on, and I will be helping put in a 300ft sand drag track (simple no timming tree) tons of trails, gravity fed showers, porto potties, concession stand durring events. What makes me happy is that all types of machines are allowed including Three Wheelers! woot! here are a few pics I took this weekend, you will have to excuse my machine, its my GF's and the only one I have running....

there is a helmet rule, the few pics of guys that have no helmets are the owners so they can do whatever the hell they want to do lol.

wish I could take pictures of everything, this place is really nice, lots of loamy sand in some of the trails, kinda like ocala but without the whoops, all this place needs is more people to come out and ride! soon there will be camping areas, not sure if there will be hookups more or less primative camping, when you dont feal like paying an arm and a leg to ride durhamtown or risking getting 100 tickets for every thing in ocala check this place out!

Does look cool, but they said there not open yet because it's too hot  Huh

Trails w/ the guy on the quad rippin it up looked pretty dry, but prob. just need some rain if they haven't got it already.

Jack, it seems like it's not far from the MOTOPLEX, maybe we can check it for 1/2 a day or somethin next time we all head up there ?

We certainly want to welcome Possum Creek, especially cause it's so close to our Georgia property. However, it ain't no Durhamtown by any stretch, so don't knock DP. Besides, it's only open on weekends when it ain't hot(whatever that means).

I'd like to check it out too, IMO these private type places are pretty much the only type places we got to ride,
also I think private ran places are better maintained/groomed.

I know it isnt durhamtown, and the reason its only open on the weekends as there isnt any one there durring the week to look after the property and riders, the owner is super awesome to let out such a large amount of land to use to ride and not really get much from it, they are super freindly and me and my buddy had a awesome time out there, what they trully need is more people to come out and ride the trails that makes them better, we plan on doing a stick and limb removal day here shortly and get all and any wood off the trails, clear a few mean stumps and such as that.

its so funny to here people complain on how much it cost to ride durhamtown.what cheap people you are. why dont you try to supply a couple of thousand acres and maintain the trails and tracks for one of the best places to ride around. see how much you charge.........
