so i get a new battery today for my rappy. starts crankin right away!!!! but it won't start!!!!! so i take the plug out and it's dry (i thought i flooded it) i check the carbs, they are getting gas. checked the plug again, still dry.

ok so the gas is on, check
engine is cranking, check
carbs seem to be working, check
gas in gas tank, no check, no gas DDDDUUUUHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I didn't see anything stupid.  You went through a checklist and solved the problem.  Looked pretty smart to me but maybe you should consider rearranging your checklist.

Remember last Croom trip? You came back with little Joe complaining your quad wasn't running right. It was spitting and sputtering. We put gas in it and it was fine. DOOOOOOOOOOHHH!!

thats like the banshee my son got.the guy had the engine rebuilt and every thing and took it home and it wouldn't start so it sat in his yard for a little over a year then my son got it we brought it to my house hooked the gas lines to the carbs put fresh gas in it and it fired right up.lol
