Eastbay Flyers, Questions, Etc 8-25-07

On the SFTL website there is link to a flyer that I have made up. If you guys wouldnt mind printing off a few copies and handing them out to fellow riders/racers or asking your local shop to put a few on their parts counter that would be awesome! We will have a knobbie class this time again so please invite your friends.

Also, so I can keep track of the questions.. Post them here and either Dave or I will answer them ASAP.
Im in the process of revising the entry forms.. they should be up shortly.

No preregistration this time around. Everyone pays day of, at the reregistration booth.

Tire issue is a huge debate, Hillkiller runs a soft compound and had almost no tire wear. Some had no tires left....I guess like the other forms of racing its all about tire management...

If you drive through the corners, your tire wear will be a lot less then if you try and drift/slide your way through them. Last time we were at Eastbay I had a set of hard compound tires and the outside one was smoothed by the end. Other people went through full sets front and rear.

Once again Ill be having a race day update on my cell phones voice mail. I usually do my best to answer it but sometimes theres to much noise or I'm on the other line. If you need to speak with me and you get my VM, leave a message and I will call you back within a few minutes.
 There were a few people who were calling their brothers-friends-moms-uncle to find out if Valdosta race was still on and were given wrong info. Please call ME if you have any concerns.
