I'll be there for the weekend most likely, where on the map is the camping going to be ? I see the parking area & another yellow area on the map.

I sure do wish you guys were closer. Hopefully next month.
We are planning on building replicas of this park throughout the state. This first one is a test to iron out the problems and see the pitfalls we will face. We can wait around and see what the state is going to do to help us (we all know the answer to that) or built our own facilities and sue them for our money back.
how about a place near fort myers (lee county)
we need something bad near our area. People will pay just about anything to find a place to ride around here!!!!!!!!

We are thinking about that area.
First we have to see if the first one works, if so, then we will be looking at more.
Out of curiousity, who would be interested in a shared ownership type deal, who would pay say $2,000-$3,000 (1 time fee) for a membership to 4 or 5 parks in the state, with a small annual fee to upkeep them (perhaps $100-$200 per annum).
I know this has been suggested before, but not by us. We have already got our first one and are targeting another location as we speak.

Paul I'd be up for it. Do you have any plans near the Central Florida area for another Park?

I'd be interested in that, IMO this is the only way were gonna have a place to ride.
I know I said it before but you guy's are doing an awesome job, I admire you for what your doing for all us, & also yourself.
Thanks again, Kelly

This sounds like an all right idea, the people would be actual owners listed on the deed?

My guess would be more like shareholders of a corporation that owned the deeds to the parks.

That makes far more sense. Sounds like a great idea now, when is the IPO.

6 Florida ATV parks, up and running could be worth a fortune.
Land is always a great investment.

That is what I was thinking, it certainly could be funny in the future for the shareholders to give the big FU to developers trying to buy the last open Florida land left. It would take a large miracle to find something down south here though, but with your track record I have no doubt it will be soon I don't have to travel so far to enjoy a motoplex. Keep up the good work and ideas.
This form of recreation has been sorely lacking things of this nature for too long.

I was looking at the weather and it says the average lows are in the low 70's at night, It's a little cooler up there than in South FL. or even in Mid-FL.
I'm sure it still gets pretty hot in the day, I'm just hoping it's a little more comfortable at night since I'll be in a pop-up, I'm gonna put a window unit in it, & have a genny. but it's a 6500 & a little loud, I kinda hate to run it at night.
I'll see if I can borrow my friends little Honda 1000, its quiet, & all I need is to run a small A/C on it, I'll bring 100' of 10/3 gauge cable w/ 110 plugs on the ends in case I could tap into somebody elses or if anybody needs to tap into mine if I run it.
I was just kinda hoping I might not even need the A/C except for maybe the day time just to cool off (leave it off at night)
I always tent camped in ONF but wouldn't go in the summer too much, except to Ginny Spgs.

It's been hovering around a 100 degrees for the last 2 weeks, a/c is a must.
Also, I don't know if anyone is bringing a UTE, but I just finished the UTE Xtreme course, it's over a mile long and runs will be timed. It starts off going through a lake, up a canal (with a penalized bypass if you don't want to drive through the canal), tabletop style jumps, strategically placed tree trunks, cambered corners, lots of minor elevation changes, through an artificially (at the moment) watered swamp area, more tabletops, more cambered corners, through one of the mud drag strip lanes, then back through the other lane and then back to the parking area. It is awesome.
Hondas are the recommended ride, but as long as you are not worried about your time, any UTE "should" be able to make it.
Lots of trails are now cut in too.
