Croom, checking for spark arrestors?

I haven't been to Croom in several years and a few of my buddies were planning a trip. Someone told me they now required spark arrestors. My MX bike doesn't have one. Has anyone been out there lately that can tell me if they are checking for them or is it a rule just to cover their behinds? It's a 4 hour drive for me so I'd hate to drive there and get turned away at the gate.

it is required but they don't check ( but if you plan on doing stupid stuff, it might be a good idea to get one that will just add to the fire )
