mike, that goes for peanut. I know he can ride, but all quad must go thru inspection. Got to check brakes, steering, lug nuts, etc. safety is number one goal.

That is expected. Both kids will go through inspection. Do I need to remove the nitrous before the inspection or is it ok for Peanut to run the spray.

Keep in mind guys, this is not a sanctioned race, This is just something that Big D came of with for the kids to have fun. It's not a serious thing but just something for the kids to do. There was talk of taking up a collection and getting some trophy's out to everyone that participates. I'll check with Big D and see.

I understand the helmet and goggles but this is not going to be a sanctioned track race so why elbow pads, boots, gloves and chest protectors for the small ones on stock bikes ?

Last thing any one wants to see is a kid get hurt. Protection is to prevent injuries. If you do not have the equipment, I am sure some one will led it to you. The trophy, I ask Nextel to help me with that.(The Nextel Quad Cup?) Boots do not have to be race boots, just boots above the ankle.

My boys have all the gear for racing but I have never heard of wearing elbow pads??  Also I havent seen any mod bikes yet Can we make a list of the kids and the class they will ride in because im not coming down to be the only 50 mod and I have only seen 1 other 90 mod.  Help me out if you can.. Also I talked to the trophy shop that does my baseball teams and they can get the quad topper with tube of choice for around 7-8 buxs..

Well I think this is Bull S***. Why are 500 people a weekend allowed to go down to Ocala and rip and tear around but we cant take 25 kids to a large open pit for a day of fun with one another. My boys like to ride with more people that the same kids at the track on a sat or sunday. I really dont see how the warden can say anything about us watching our kids do what we and they love to do.

I dont think we have to have but a 100ft sand drag 20ft wide 2 lanes 10ft each if the kid cant stay in his lane he shouldnt be racing.

And the circle wont be but 1500 sq feet come on is that large pit gonna miss that tiny amount of space

My little league has a game at 9 ill be done by 1045 and to rodman by 12 if anyone wants to have a KIDS DAY

I will be there, maybe not riding as agressive until all cleared by the Doc. The Boys will certainly be there to participate in one ride or another.
