dog topics all together should be banned. do any of us really need to show how ignorant we can really be. these arguments are all pointless and do not help anyone. the only dog topics on this site are very negative. it's alot like how all the quad riders are treated. these topics turns people on this site into enemies. for instance, i met one person at the the rally that i thought was a pretty nice guy and then i read today how he doesn't brake for pitbulls. who the hell does he think he is. if anyone ever purposely hit one of my dogs and i could get my hands on them it would be all over. i hope any person that hits any dog on purpose loses control of whatever vehicle they are driving crashes and dies while the dog walks away.

This dog thing is like similar to the constant on going debate about domestic vs import or chevy vs ford. It will never end, people are always going to have a different opinion that cannot be swayed. I guess we need to make a rule were the word pit and bull cannot be used in the same sentence.

Like most of you pro pitbull supporter said in there statements. If pitbulls are negelated, badly treated or abused they can be very dangerous. So if I'm driving my truck down the road and if there's  a pitbull running down the road and I run it over, I would be doing our society good right. In your own words a negelated, badly treated or abused pit are very dangerous. Thats what you call a pit running down the road a negelated and badly treated. So I rather get it first before it hurts someone else. If the animal control picks up the dog they will destroy it anyways. And anyone that puts a dogs life before a humans life has some serious issues and should get counseling!

I will only comment on this once. I dont see how you can say its not the breed, do you ever hear about any other breeds as much as you do pits? There must be something to that breed. I dont care what kind of dog you own, thats your choice. I do know for a fact I would never own a pure bred Pit. I have met many half breed pits that are awesome dogs, but would never take the chance with a pure bred.

  It's a never proven point. I've trained all kinds of dogs, and they all can bite. I saw a guys leg nearly gnawed off by a Cockerspaniel. I gave my trained bulldog to SD4wheelin, ask them or Blupits how obedient he was...even for 120 lbs.
   Most of the bigger dogs are defensive and respond to aggression in a defensive manner , but only because they see it as a threat. Haven't you ever seen a guy slapping a girl, and gone over and beat the crap out of him? Same thing. This case, the dog must've been around a lot of violence to attack a child. To instinctively see a child as a threat, he must've had a long history of abuse!!
   There is absolutely no way the owners didn't know this dogs mannerism...they raised him, they created him!!

One time when my dog was a puppy, my Dad opened up the front door of our house to go out to his car and my dog ran out of the house and went down the street a few houses to pee and this guy brought out a base ball bat and swung it at my dog. Needless to say that guy got his azz kicked so good by my father and an another guy in the neighborhood he ended up listing his house for sale the next day just to get out of there.

My dog passed away on July 10, 2007.
