hey guys i need some help taking apart a 400ex carb cleaning it and putting it back together if anyone has some step by step instructions or know where i can get some thanks nick

It is very simple. Just take it off. Remove the srews that hold the bowl on. Under there is the float and the jets. Take out the main jet and the pilot jet. Clean all the holes out. You might need a pick or paper clip to clean the pilot jet out. Then put it back together.

yeah very simple, remove, take the bowl off the bottom, and basically clean any holes you see so that they are perfect inside with nothing that obstructs flow and clean for dirt and what not, i've got it down to a science on my banshee where i can pull em', clean em', an be running in about 20 minutes, again, very simple
