I HAVE AN 03 YZ450F..STOCK EXHAUST..I WANT TO REMOVE THE BAFFLE AND I HEAR THAT I MUST RE JET..IS THAT TRUE? AND CAN I GET AWAY WITH BUYING THE INDIVIDUAL JETS INSTEAD FO A KIT?..ANYONE WHO CAN HELP ME, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT VERY MUCH!..THANX-JOSH

Im pretty sure you can buy induvidual jets, and you might need to re-jet considering you are getting more exhaust flow.

It depends on your current jetting. However, if it's a stock pipe, it shouldn't have enough packing to warrant a re-jet.  You should be able to use the carb adjustment to make up for any augmentation of the packing.

I used to have a little 125 breeze and we put a new end peice on the slip on and we had to re jet it.

so was that an after market peice you put on? because i am only removing stock baffle from a stock pipe..thanx

you'll know as soon as you start riding it if additional jetting is required, might want to consider  uping the pilot to a 45 or a 48 with the air box lid off.  idle air screw 1.5 turns out needle on the 4th clip and a 165 to 168main.  That should get you close if not a tad bit fat. get a few spark plugs and read them with each adjustment. your are looking for a tan kernel.. PS try out the Tech section. there is alot of good stuff in there
