Does anyone know what I can use to take off the adhesive that was left over when I removed my window tint from my truck?

I have to get it ready for the new tint  Wink

USE AMMONIA IN A SPRAY BOTTLE , SPRAY IT ON AND SCRAP OFF THE REST,
THE AMMONIA WILL TURN THE GLUE TO A GUMMY SUBSTANCE.

correct!  spray some paper towels with ammonia and let it soak for a few minutes and it come right off. wear a mask to be safe.

So, what worked.  I need to get the stickem off the front of my new washing machine.  Would rather not smell ammonia all day.
