NA----- I say Raptor700 or yzf450. The LTZ450's from Suzuki are nice too. IMO  Smiley

Quad Boy you could not have put it in better words. I think it is even worse than their DS 250.

i think some of u dont understand they did want to make the prettiest bike out there they built it to perform well and i think they did a great job at it. this deff. raises the bar in the indusrty and all the other companies are going to have to do there homwork. you will deff be seeing me on one of these in the near future!!

here are some pics of team can am/epic racing ds this is jeremy schells he will be using in the worcs series also a link to some videos http://www.atvriders.com/atvreviews/canam2008ds450sportatvvideos.html

The DS250 is only one year old, so, there's not enough customer feedback to compare it to other comparable brands. However, it's price tag is several hundred dollars less than the competition and features oem(vs. aftermarket) accessories such as skid plates, a-arm protectors, bumpers, etc. which are not available for comparable models. My 2003 Outlander has 3,700 miles on and still going strong despite many underwater adventures. The 450 will get a lot of attention, but, why no reverse? And, they also now have a Renegade 500.

Those bars unbolt. The frame has no welds. Check out the website. Then make an educated statement.

I didn't mean to come off the wrong way. I should have worded it differently.

WHY are all the new 450s so effin tall?! Will we ever have another low center of gravity machine like the 250R? I swear every new 4 stroke that is out now has the seat where the top of the gas tank was on the 250Rs. Sheesh.

the bike looks good for a bike that has been setup to race. now lets see one out the box like they will be selling them at the dealers cause they sure as hell wont be rolling out looking like that.

I like it.  Not the best looking quad ever but its nice.  From what I read its suppose the most powerfull 450 on the market.  If they price it right Id buy it.  I'll have to wait for a year or so.  FYI--dont ever buy something in its first year of production--odds are it will have issues.

That thing may be not welded but no u cant unbolt the frame! Most of it uses a clamp on stud that cant be removed! Which sucks cause if u bend the subframe ur screwed!
