When rididng down a trial my Caution Hot Light comes on... as soon as i stop and turn off the machine than turn it back on to let the fan run the light never comes back on until another hour or two of riding what is going on..?? how do i go about fixing this problem??

What brand and model ? If it is the sportsman that you had mentioned in the other post, spray the radiator with degreaser and gently rinse a few times on both sides. Also, check the heat sensor connection on the left hand side of the cylinder.

If the degreaser alone doesnt work, you may need to take out the radiator to clean it better. If you are having sensor problems, you can bypass the sensor so the fan goes on with your key.
