hey DRETH it looks like you definitely have a secret admirer that is hiding his feelings....lol..j/k.

and yeah we all have our secret spots......mine is about 3 acres of a circle track. It doesnt have any hills or anything else that might even be fun......but the cops dont run me off and I dont have to dodge piles of garbage either. It's more like a flat track with potholes haha.

ok it's a retention pond behind my house but I'm the only rider and the neighbors dont mind. Plus the county guys dont come mow anymore so I think they appreciate my efforts lol.

I wonder how many people have a riding area that they don't talk about.
I do  but won't tell anybody where it is for that same reason.

i wish i did.  only place i know of where to ride is the okee pairie.  thats really one of the closest (good) places near me.

ok, so maybe I am new here, and maybe I don't don't know what the hell I am talking about...I don't even know where the
hell you are talking about, but....
The places we are aloud to ride are getting scarce, we all know this. It is dew to people being disrespectful of others, a handful that give all a bad name. I have ridden my whole life one any machine imaginable, and I like to play, I think we all do. But riding down the road like a lunatic is endandering others. If you have to get to another trail or something, be gentle as to not make people angry while doing it. I like to raise hell and ride like an idiot to, but there is a time and a place for it. As for the helmet, well, I don't like the either, and I feel it is my worry as to whether or not I want to crack my melon.
But please, don't give the wheelers more of a bad name, we get enough already...so I have to say I agree with kawgirl's gripe.

I was there today and the undercover cops were in a dodge dakota with lights inside the truck only. They had only one thing to say, We wish they would not ride on the pavement. Only one simple request. Sonds reasonable to me.

Hey are "NOT" the undercover Officers.....you would never know them if you saw them, they look like typical ATV'ers having fun  Shocked
Those guys in the Dakota are great guys, you will see them in uniforms on ATV's also...checking Serial No's.  Also some of the officer's have camps out there  [smiley=Wink.gif]

We saw one uniformed officer on a quad also. They officer and the  quad was nice. The officer in the Dakota was cool also. They were just mad at one camp full of ATV's riding on the pavement. I would love to go with a group of 4x4 quads after hunting season. We saw a lot of riding areas from the road around the west side but did not want to bother the hunters.

Hey Custom Rubicon & Kawgirl:

Hope all is well...

Sorry that MX Mike and I could not get to ride with you last weekend at the Prairies.. I could not get a trailer for the day.

Hey Kawgirl, are you and Jeff going out this weekend to ride??

It seems like these people still have not learned their lesson about riding on the roads up there...It seems that they don't listen when you go by and ask them to stop either...

HeY Rubicon, did you and your daughter have a good time last weekend?? My son is looking forward to riding with your daughter.. Let me know when you are going riding again..

I miss the Prarie. it seems that it was starting to get seriously trashed lately and the real estate crowd will chase us further and further up the state. If you think we're trashing nature, look at the bulldozers and real estate folks really messing things up. I miss ripping wide open there.

This is the exact reason why me and my parents bought a house in a atv friendly community. I have over 300 acres of land that I can ride on but nobody cares as long as you dont go right up to there house. I love this place and this place loves me.     and no I will not tell you were it is

I was just poking a little fun at what you said..................Of course you must feel a little odd.  After all though you were proven correct that the reckless driving would eventually close that area down, simultaneously, you also lost a great riding spot.  Perplexing isn't it.
