riding Jaguar Lake?

Has anyone been riding Jaguar lake or AKA horse shoe lake off of Immokolee rd? Last time I was there someone to me and some buddies that it was off limits....is this still the case???

last i heard there are some houses already built around the lake.

when i went about a year ago, i got chased of bythe  sheriffs cause houses in the area and a builder were complaining, i think it was us homes
