Little girl with a broken back & all you guys worry about is yourselves.
Sorry - - I thought maybe if it was your daughter or sister and you didn't
even have the name of the guy who did it then you might seek help
from the "family" (?) of riders. Fogetaboutit!!

That is very sad, I hope they recover fully, and my prayers are with them. I was out there on the 18th, but I have never heard of this accident, nor did i see it on the news, so my photos from the day are useless to you, sorry. Good luck.

H450, I would not apolopgize. I think you were probably very close to the truth. Why would someone want to buy pictures of a accident scene?
Ambulance Chaser perhaps?? I do not get it.

Magnum, tell us why you are here. Are you the attorney for the little girl? Maybe if you open up & be honest, someone may help you. You are a newbie with only a couple posts & you come on here trying to buy photos. IMO you are either their attorney or you are a tree hugger trying to hurt all atv riders & use a bad accident against us to help keep HL closed. Thats what it was I am sure, an accident. I wont beleive a DB rider would intentionally crash into someone especially a little girl. Funny thing is, we all know JackL pretty much lives at holeylands every day it is open & he takes tons of pics for our enjoyment & he was there that day & heard or saw nothing? Just seems strange so dont come on here acting holy when someone doubts your true intentions which you havent made known yet.

I feel for the girl & her family for sure. I hope they are ok. I still say you should find out who this guy is before laying it all out on an open forum. He needs to identify himself.

hey if it gets shut down it does
IT IS WHAT IT IS
we just find new places to ride mybe it part of the guys family just trying to get some help to find out what happend in the order it did. so instead of jumping the gun and thinking negitive be positive. honestly i think holylands should be like big cpress or anyother plaece and u have to get sticker and everything esle evan paying for it would be ok for that godd ridding spot. that will keep the people out that do not belong. as in the people who race up and down the leeve and cause acidents like this one.

Its a really big place. I have been out there while my friends were and never seen them in a whole weekend.
I really doubt any attack from a lawyer against the Holeylands could cause it to be closed. The state is never negligent out there IMO. Without knowing the circumstances of this deal, I can only pray everyone involved recovers, and yeah I figured this guy is probably a lawyer, and I also figure google + my HL posts led him here to us, but it isn't my job to judge people and I have faith in out legal system.
I wish I did have pictures for him.
A much bigger problem is this drought!! Wow, we could make it all the way through to winter with a low water order I am starting to think. When the lake makes it to morning national news, it is getting bad.

Wow, your posts were a nice change in this thread, sorry you had to witness that, but I don't agree about the stickers or the gate.
Holeylands is pretty much the last example of what we had all over here in the past, and I do not want to see it change. I would stop going if I had to get a sticker....probably.
Accidents happen, that is why they call them that. People get hurt all the time doing this hobby perfectly safe and sane all the time. It is the nature of the beast IMO. Anyone who doesn't accept that has no business getting on a bike.

We all do.
I'm pretty sure everyone is just on edge because the Holeylands has been closed for so long, and it is hard to understand that it is only temporary, when every other post is about another spot being closed. When the bottom of the lake is on fire, it is pretty simple to accept IMO. I wouldn't want to be in the middle of the sawgrass out there right now.
We are going to hit 8th/157th on Friday AM. Looks like it might rain as well.
Anyone who wants to ride is welcome. After that, June 9th at 38.5 unless I manage to squeeze in a quick one or three.
