Yes, make sure you have good insurance. It seems that all the MX racers have been getting banged up a lot lately.

what kind of track? MX/TT/FLAT TRACK?? with any track you have to have the appropriate riding gear MX BOOTS/ HELMET/GOGGLES/GLOVES/CHEST PROTECTOR. THe machine needs to be set up for the track its running on Tires/suspension/KILL SWITCH and you need to enjoy EATING DIRT....as you will for a while till you get the hang of things Wink

i live in south florida i no there is one track near m hosue but i dont no what kind of track it is u think if i go there they can get me ong in the right area

you have county line mx (now miami mx) about 45 minutes from you...probably great for beginning, not a lot of traffic and not too intimidating

you have seminole about an 1 1/4 hour, outstanding track.

you just have to talk to one of the track guys or at the gate and let them explain the classes to you.  county line you'll probably get to ride 15 minutes every 45, seminole, depending on day and how busy, maybe the same, or maybe 15 minutes per hour.

marooso aka Moroso is also a very good track to learn on
