On the beaches where it's legal to drive your car, can you trailer in a 4 wheeler and cruise around?

Volusia county issues special use permits to the vendors that rent 4 wheelers and those permits aren't available to us. I took my 250r with paddles to New Smyrna back in 1990 and although I didn't get a ticket I did get a lecture. The cop wasn't thrilled about the divits I left either...

I have heard rumors from credible sources that somewhere in Flagler county you can ride on the beach, but I didn't even get the chance to drop the tailgate before I got a lecture and a warning ticket at Matanza's Inlet.

next time I'm at the beach, I'm taking a bunch of pictures of those rental quads and making a conversion kit of stickers and a flag to ride mine ;-)

rental the golf carts. there  more fun. you can have 4 people in the cart. you can only do 15 mph on the hard pack part of the beach. you can't go on the loose sand area.

My Brother Rode on the Beach between Flagler and Marineland and the ranger told him that he was allowed to ride until he crossed into a state park then it became illegal Tongue. Yeah now he is waiting for a court date for riding on the dunes of a state park. I wont take my chances
