Back in the mid 1980's to around 1998 I use to ride that area be for there were quads. The big thing was the HONDA 250R. I was wondering if you still can ride there or is it all taken up by Rinker and FPL. It looks funny to see 1980's makes me think of the old western movies and makes me think I'm old but I don't feel old. Sorry for the rambling I guess  its an age thing. Nerd

It's east side of Krome north of US41 and south of US27. There is a MXtrac out there now I heard.

I'm planning on going out this Saturday to see how it is. I've seen riders park on the west side of Krome on the levy going to Mac's.

Listen the East side is a BUST!! You do not want to get caught there..some good ridin, but not worth it. Take the boat ramp south and you will have fun if on a UTE.

I still have a 250r and a 200s, both cut some of the trails out there. Smiley
Thanks for the fond memories buddy. You use to be able to ride to Lost Lake from my place in Davie....Progress....

I rode over there a week or so ago, here is the thread.

Don't forget, stay away from the East side of Krome!!!

JacklL what do you mean it's a bust to ride out there. Is it no longer legal or it's monitored and enforced no tresspassing? Or is it all taken up by rock pits? I want to go riding but there is no place to go any more Huh

Yes, the east side is posted no trespassing now, so stay out. The FWC will boof you. They ran us out with a helicopter a few months back in the middle of the night. The track owners will call if they hear you out there.

That said, feel free to join me and a few buds for one serious swamp thrashing at Macs. We will be entering at the air boat ramp 6:00AM Saturday 5/5.

It is pretty nasty out there even now, I don't think any of you sport guys will want to go down the boat ramp with us, I will be happy to pull you all around in the muck if you want..Smiley , but I don't think it would be very fun for you. The dykes are off limits, and Marshall will shoot you in the head if you exceed 5mph on the gravel road in front of the fish camp.

Hope to see some of you out there.

Sorry I never got back to your PM. Got a lot of things going on. Please join us out there. I will be parked on the south/west parking area and should be pulling into the muck at 6:01 AM. White F-250 here.

Well discuss your request in person, or I'll get back to you with a PM when everything cools down a bit BTW.

Perfect for sport quads nearly a mile from the boatramp!! DON'T venture down the sawgrass trails when you see it starting to get wet. YOU will be sorry, I assure you of that.

Pictures to follow, and yes at one point I was in muck up to my knees, actually higher!

Caught a few fish with my front skid plate. You guys will love the pics.
