?'S on how to set timing on a '02 raptor 660....

Anybody have any clue on how to set the timing?

make sure to spin the crank counter clockwise only and line it up with the "I" mark and not the "H"

also make sure you got the decompression mechanism installed in the cam correctly

crap, where did nightbreed's post go? that was good stuff

anywho, there are 3 dots on the cam sprocket, 2 will line up parallel with the head, the other will be up. make sure the lobes on the cam are facing down.

I posted off the top of my head without asking Mike to be 100% sure. I was scared maybe I had the Cam lobe direction backwards and I didnt want to be responsible for him being 180 degrees out. I thought I was right until I read it back to myself and reconsidered. I dont usually post in tech without at least asking Mike about it to be 100%. I guess I should have left it
