 Anyone have aqny expereince in flooring/home repair?

I just ripped up my carpet and padding..We are prepping the floor to be stained/painted a terra cota color

question  is...what should i use to get the pad glue up off the concrete?

your best bet is gonna be to scrape it up. get a 4" scraper blade and go after it. To get the concrete back to good condition to it will accept the stain you may need to acid etch it. Goto a local paint store(NOT Home Depot/Lowes) and ask what you should use. Not sure if you get into Tampa/St. Pete much but goto any Suncoast Paint store http://www.suncoastpaints.com/. They sell Dyco concrete stains, which are top of the line.

   A flat scraper and some paint thinner.Or was it dynamite?I've had to use a small jack hammer on some older stuff.Good luck.
