Well your problem is simply that its still reltivley new and your not gonna find it for less then 10G on a dealer floor and nobody is gonna have one used.

Just like cars........Demand drives price.
eg.
Z450 new and hot = MSRP + Prep+fluids+frieght+epa tax+reg tax+tag etc.
Z450 now = MSRP or less out the door............

There is less room ($) on atv/bikes.($500~$700 on most with out factory money)

polaris in Venice and Sarasota has one each.  They are asking 10k.  They have been there for a few months the last time I checked the guy told they are not moving at all.  I saw it in the atv trader they had special sale for 8,999$

Mulemedics, I'll give you some advice based on my experience, I just bought a new 07 kawie BF 750. You look at the web site jocolo posted and see the discounted prices they have. Well I found a similar price for my BF750 , it was an unbelieveable low price, like 1500$ less than MSRP.Only problem was the bike was like 200 miles away. So I called my local Kawie dealer and asked if they could match the price, after a little dealling they did, without even seeing the invoce for verification.  So the lesson is; find the quad you want, look for a discounted price like the one above , or make up a story you found one. Find your local dealer, that sells the quad you want, and see if you can get them to match the discounted price, they may want an invoice for verification ,or you may get lucky like I did and not need one.

After I called the place with the discounted quad, they called me back and gave me the exact numbers for the deal, you know , x amount for assembly, delivery, and tax, final price. I  ran those by my local dealer and in the end I saved about 1200$ off MSRP on my quad. And that is rare as I understand most people just walk in and pay MSRP  for these things. Go figure.........
