First I wanna say 'hello' to everybody. Check out http://breakabone.com! It's a small site that I put together to allow people to easily share their favorite riding locations with other riders. Although, the site is not fully completed I have uploaded that page so you can start posting locations. Be the first one to post! When I finish the site, users would be able to register locations, upload pictures and videos, post comments, organize events, and maybe even shop from their local bike shops online.... I am open to your ideas. The site was a part of a school project, but I thing I could turn it in something useful. Let me know what you think and Ride-On!

That would be very cool. The site is nice. Looks great.

I tried the site, looks like you may need to work a few more bugs out. when it's fully up this is going to be a great site.

Do you have the GEO coordinates from your GPS. I am not familiar with GPS but if it returns LatLan that looks like (-12.4342325, 9,3214234)... than I will just add a third option to enter directly those coordinates (geo location). Let me know and I will do it in an hour.

Here in an example of what I am talking about displayed visually. BTW: The long straight tracks are from recent airplane flights.

Just finished the part for direct GEO Coordinates. I am not familiar with the format you are talking about but I am sure we can find a way. You can send me an example at contact@breakabone.comI am planning to have an option for users to upload tracks... or even take a screen shot of the location than manually plot points of interests and upload to that particular location. Let me know what else could be useful. I will take care of the technical part.

yes,
you will be able to upload such files, and files of other kind (pdfs, klm...) that would be available for download.

if any of you ride at non-legal spots then please do not share the gps coordinates over the interenet, cops monitor this site. it will just be a way for your spot to get closed quicker

Here is one we will never be able to ride again.. And would defenitly advise people not to post current (semi illegal ) riding spots if you plan on riding them ever again..There are people watching us!!!!!! That site looks great for people in other states where riding can be an adventure on unkown trails... Like in TENN, NC, GA, WV..ect... Ocala use to be that way but for now its gone...
This is some tracks i have logged before the crackdown

I personally doubt it that the cops need to monitor a website to find out where people ride bikes. It is usually obvious. It is just a matter of time before enough people complain before the place gets shot down.

Do you guys think that I am missing any categories. So far I have Dirt Bikes, Pit Bikes, ATVs... am I missing any?
I don't want to turn this page into a general motorcycle page but at the same time I don't want anybody to feel left out.
Thanks

Hey Jack, I don't know if you are talking about this but here is a trail ride that I used my garmin to upload it to Google Earth. Just click on the pic.
