yea i was wonder if any body has ever tryed and race a YZF450 against a banshee cause i am gonna race my buddys on thursday and i was just wondering if anybody knew how they would compare and i also was wondering if anyone has ever tryed putting 4 bolt spares on the back of a quad just trying not to burn up the nobbys if you catch my drift but yea i think i would be a good race between the 2 if you had the right rider and everything.....

most of the banshee at lakeland drag strip are set up to drag race and should hand you your a$$ pretty bad but a stock 450 should beat a stock banshee and a banshee with a set of pipes and a jet Kit should out run a piped 450 and anything after that a 450 would not stand a chance

last time i heard, lakeland drag strip was out of business and they sold all their timing equipment. i think it is only being used for truck tug-o-wars and other stuff during special events.

no its opened back up now i went out there last thursday and ran my truck and beat some little rice burners it was pretty funny to see the lok on there face when a truck was leaving them and epspecially when its a truck that has a v6 and on top of that its a full size one!!!

tonight 6-11(sat sept 29)
alot of quads last week but it rained out

i wish ...got one in the works though...yeah i saw that a while back , haven't seen them out there though?...had fun 4 banshee's were there ( including us two) but still fun ...it's test & tune you can run anything (w/ gloves, long sleeves, helmet, ) we just pick who wants to run who, & line up that way ...they haven't said anything about leather jackets but that might be next ...come on out, just having a good time, is all i'm doing... would be nice to meet new people... sat's 6-11 $10 to watch & add $5 to race... thurs. nights too, but thats hard to make for me Dave |
