Wow,well guess I'll be the 1st to chime in........I went,got there around 10:30am Sat......Can you say...overcrowded!

I cant say that I didnt have fun,but think it would be a whole ot more fun with about half the people, anyone know a head count,I heard rumors of around 15,000,i know it sure seemed like that,I asked one of the security guys if they were prepared fior that kinda crowd, and he said NO WAY,I know it was Mudfest, but man did I see alot of people(mainly punks around the age of 18-20 give or take) with no respect to other peoples property,"bumping" into other peoples trucks, like if there bike, truck, buggy, whatever was 4ft wide and the space they wanted to go through was 3 3/4 wide, they went anyway.......I guess one should expect that at an event that was so close to out of control.....that I think u might as well just say it was!

Would I go back......well yeah probably so,will definatly go back when their isnt a nat'l band and hopefully the crowd is half the size!

My group decided to get the hell out of there about 7pm,and on the way out we were pretty much told to go a way that was damn near impassable, the mud was so nasty,my grizz made it through several times, towed a few pople out and was going back for the last one in our group when it finally happened........I broke an axle.....knew it would happen sooner or later...stock axles and 29.5's dont mix.........Just ordered Gorilla axles about 20 mins ago..so that wont happen again!

Well lets hear  some more feed back!!!!

Had a good time. We got there around 2pm Friday and there were more people there by then, then there was at last month's event. Way too crowded. I got ran into by some dude on a BF750 who as trying to fly out of a mudhole down a main road. A 13 y/o girl that cam with us got hit by a swamp buggy in the mud, it was crazy.

Thanks to the girls that helped my friend when he passed out, and fell off his bike into the mud, Saturday morning. They waited w/ him until the ambulance took him away. He sis doing fine now. He was at the hospital for about 6 hrs then released.

Does anybody know what was up with the girl who rode her horse up to they stage during the concert? She was pushing people out of the way so she could get a better spot I guess. I did understand why she was there at all, security??? or just a pain in the you know what. A guy eventually pulled her and  the horse out of the crowd though.

We had alot of fun too.. But way to many people, we knew there would be alot but I guess we weren't prepared really! Wasnt even enough room to set up camp. We never even put up the tents. The MUD was fun, it got really bad later in the day on Saturday though. Couldn't beleive the way some people were riding and acting...Just add alcohol and instant A$$Holes appear. But you gotta take the good with the bad I guess. We enjoy going camping and riding and once a month its great! See ya all next month! Happy Easter!

Pete is fine now, they are really not sure what happened to him (passed out or seizure) probably due to dehydration. Once he go the IV and other fluids in him he was good to go. He was deperate to come back that afternoon, but his mom drove down from St Cloud and took him home. That was scary, looking into his eyes and seeing nothing going on inside.

Thanks again to you and your freind. By the way I think he's in love with you now. JK

Hey Truegrit:
I am glad to hear pete is doing good. I was the medic that got to him when people came and got me.
I would also like to thank the girls that helped me with him.
You Girls did Great. and i think pete liked the attention!!

As for the rest of the event we are working to resolve a lot of road and camping problems. Mother nature thru us a suprise by dumping 6" of rain on us the day before opening. I killed about 400 acres of camping areas. We are working to fix these problems and hope to be done by the next major concert.
For the month of may we have the opening act for D.A.C.
"Jerry and the Hurrycanes" Thes guys ROCK!

And for the question of how many???
Its almost 10,000 and some hade to be turned away...
and for that I appoligize. The sheriff had to ask us to do that.
Hope to see ya' in April

MudMaster I am sure everyone who attended appriciated all of your efforts. I am sure you and your staff were overwhelmed with the amount of people. I think you did a good thing by openning the back area so we could ride w/o so much congestion. I know it is not your fault but I do not understand why people feel the need to blare vulgar (foul language) music at 1 in the morning, or insist on making full throttle runs down the trails by folks sleeping all night.
Certain things can be expected with large crowds but it still hard for me to understand what makes those people tick.

Keep up the good work, We have all learned lessons for this experience.
Thanks again and see you next month.

If they allowed guns I garantee there would not be that many idiots doing the stuff you mentioned! Grin

I would have reduced that number by atleast four or five!

Maybe next time they can set aside an area separated by atleast 1/4 mile for families or people that want to get some peace and quiet. Set the time for the music and generators to be cutoff by 9 p.m.. All vehicle movement stops at 10 p.m.. Let all of the other wack-jobs run over each other etc. for all I care.

Just an idea.
