welcome, scoobie. We would reallylike it if you would be our Jasper river watcher. Let us know when the river is down. There are a bunch of us from over in the J'ville aera that are ready to go to Jasper to ride now that Rodman IV is over we are ready to get a group together to come your way. [smiley=ThumbsUp.gif]

I would take a day off tomorrow but I think that my boss would get tired of me takeing off so much to go ride. Ijust toke off last friday to get ready for Rodman ride, and what a blast it was. Has it gone down enough to rid yet. I don't like lots of mud to hard on sport bike.

last time i looked, it was starting to get down to where some sand was spotting through in places......trust me, when it`s dry, nothing but a mini-dune for miles( even though it`s only about a 100 yards wide) lol....but anyways, ready to see the flying-V in action........keep `em coming guys, and i will keep you posted.......

    Alapaha Update.....
It is still flooded.

I went by there yesterday, and it is still flowing. There is some sand visible on the banks, so you could probably unload under the bridge and scoot around some of the imediate bank trails (if you are desperate). If you have been there before, you know this will not give you the full effect of riding the river. I live right up the road, and have been checking it religously. I will send an all caps yee haw to all of you when it is dry... I am getting pretty damn anxious myself!!

Wierd, my post didnt go thru...

Anyway yunt, thats cool if you dont make it to MSG.  we really werent wantin ya there anyway.  Your only problem at jasper is the prairie isnst going to be there to pull ya to the hill when you drown out again.  Grin.

Shame you wont be going to MSG to flex those new tires your puttin on the polaris...

Jasper will be there in a couple of weeks (and alot drier), so ill take the jasper ride then.  MSG only comes in Feb once a year. hehe.  Ill def wait a week or two for jasper.

(oh, were going to pull out around 230-3pm if you change your mind)

Daisy and rob.
its robs Bday so i figured i would give him a treat and make him manager for a couple of hours.  ROFL.

Usually Friday afternoons are slow after the first two weeks of the month, so it wont be a problem.

hack is going to take the kids to the Babysitter and were gonna load everything up but nanner (wont get that trailer till noon) and head out.

Ill worry about my business, you worry about how your gonna get your quad home when you ride jasper without us.   grin

I have to see if Dagwood is gonna go. If so then I won't leave until 2 in the morning. And you know I will have a way to get the polaris to the truck. I have more friends then just one. I think the artic cat may just get it back. HEHE

from the looks of things, due to the upcoming forecast for some rain, alaphaha river in jasper is definitely looking slim for this weekend . but if things change for the better, i will make a trip to spec things out......rode one heck of a sand mine sunday near white springs on suwannee valley road....probably 15 acres of just pit with sandy, sandy dunes(15 to 20 feet near verticles) up all sides...bad part about it was it was leased and the dude said he was puttin` the gates up because too many people were starting to come back in and he was afraid of someone getting hurt......but around this pit was nothing but flooded lakes and ponds with trails all thru and around them near where they call the pipelines or gas lines or something like that....also some place back in their they call the devil`s compound where supposedly a bunch of worshippers( probably crackheads..lol) had this little town like village....kinda spooky...kinda hillarious.....anyways, to all who ride in the central to north florida areas, can`t wait to meet ya`s and hope we ride soon. will have the trailer finished by friday (i`m building my own, dernit) and will be taking 10 days off from work starting the 26th......time to get serious and rideeeeeeeeee................
